True and not only in the attack. To me, Portugal is one of the favourites this summer if they can make it out of their group with France, Hungary and Germany.

Yeah, it was a pretty rotated side last night, smaller opponent, etc. They mainly went with Bernardo, Felix and Ronaldo so far. Options off the bench like Jota, Andre Silva, now Neto basically replacing the ambidexterity of Guedes. I think in big games, they’ll still opt to focus on securing freedom for Ronaldo rather than start with Andre Silva, though he’s playing a very good season. But it’s a Santos side and he’s mainly about solidity and pragmatism. They also need to find a place for Fernandes (sometimes I think it can be a diamond with him at the tip of it), so yeah… midfield and forward options give plenty of solutions.

It’s positioning that I find impressive. Always between the lines or between players.
His first goal tonight a perfect case in point. Drifted in between the two defenders. There were a couple fo other instances in open play too.

Yes and his determination to score I love most, he is so delicate to score, no fancy stuff just hit the ball as hard as you can into the back of the net.
Love the guy but perhaps it helps I’m part Portuguese …
