Sit him down, switch off FIFA and play repeat videos of the run’s Salah makes in behind their fullback and center back.
Far far too static, Salah is a god because he runs without the ball all the time and creates space.
Not that I’m defending him but you couldn’t drop a needle in Arsenal’s final third last night, let alone have a player run in behind their defence… These games turn into proper scraps reminiscent of 2008/09 Stoke (ugh) when Alcantara and Keita aren’t available. Why did Klopp go for that midfield, I really don’t know. That said, all of Jota, Firmino and Minamino are better suited to playing centrally, in my opinion, and have hardly played together, no wonder why there was no cohesion between them.

I don’t think right is the right side for him. Additionally, he was too wide and far from the goal last night.

The point is more his starting position needed to change, he, Bobby and Taki were all basically on the penalty spot.
Get wide, create width, make their defenders work. Basic stuff really, really disappointed all over last night, from the coaches to the players.

One of the few (only?) on our team that strongly points out to the ref and makes it obvious to him that he has been fouled. Will gesture to the ref that he was breaking free when fouled.
These little conversions subconsciously gets into the ref’s mind, so next time the ref makes an actual decision.
Much better from the left. Gordon’s inclusion was a surprise but it did give us some genuine width on the right and meant that Jota wasn’t wasted out of position like last week. Second goal was a sublime finish. Taking it down on the chest and dinkiing it over the keeper in one movement. That was a hard piece of skill made to look easy. His best bit of football was when he left Ben White for dead to set up Gordon. A clever player with just the right amount of snide. Great finisher.
