I’m sure you’ll enjoy yourself but not jealous at all - don’t really rate the central coast and Byron is a zoo these days. If I still lived in Sydney and wanted beaches further than Palm, I’d be heading directly to Noosa and skipping the spots along the way. But I’m one of those weirdos who doesn’t really get the ‘road trip’ stuff. Maybe in my old(er) age when Curtis Jones is manager.
Organise accom in advance - unless you wait until schools back it will be very busy.
Not a bad shout. but Noosa isn’t that great anymore, although other parts of the Sunshine Coast are still top draw. I personally always prefered parts of Coolum to Noosa
That’s where I am but without question now is not the time to come here. Autumn and winter here is bliss. Crowds have dissipated and it’s cyclone season for the surf. Water still warm enough without a wetsuit.
If you ever wonder whether US Americans are the most advanced at shooting themselves in the foot, Queenslanders have got them covered:
And there’s this…
The only reason I can come up with that they’d include race but not, at minimum, include religion in these new laws, is to qualify Judaism under the law and exclude Islamic hate.
It will be interesting to read and understand the legislation fine print to see if Judaism in fact passes the fully-fledged race test.
Not sure if that’s true, but anecdotally, I know an Indian gent who was treated extremely shoddily by a Jewish doctor in the E.suburbs. The assumption being he was perceived to be Muslim.
Yeah and the media certainly aren’t all over those instances. Anti-Semitism privileging ironically actually risks increasing dangers to those it supposedly seeks to protect.
Well, it was quite a few degrees less nasty than the nurses case, but it’s horrendous that it should be happening either way. What kind of world are we living in when health professionals in Australia are mistreating their patients because of a conflict on the other side of the world? It’s all wrong on so many levels.
