Following Sam Neill’s death there were a number of lists of his best films, and this one stood out. Just watched it with the Missus and it’s a brilliant but brutal portrayal of outback life in the early 20th century.

I’m a North supporter since the glory days of the late 70’s when living in Melbourne as a young fella. Started supporting Liverpool as well but I digress.
AFL clubs are very patient compared to the European counterparts when it comes to sacking coaches. North were improving so I was surprised he was axed but not too fussed….however….this the same boss (Viney) that disowned mouthy Kane Cornes for criticising Clarkson last year. Viney didn’t miss Clarkson in the media conference so what a hypocrite.

I think its petulant but probably a better use of those shirts that tossing them in a skip which he could have easily done. Hopefully they can make a healthy sum and the money go back into the community.
There are plenty of semi-reliable stories of Clarko putting fists through walls when Sonja and Todd went to his house to deliver the news. I was shocked when he was given the boot but there were plenty of times during the year where I also had the feeling that the game was beyond him now.
