At one point, when the lowlife behind Vance asked Zelensky about his attire, and you hear the thrash laughing around the room⌠Rubio glanced back and then around the room with that same miserable look on his face. He looked like an abused child being forced to sit through his parentsâ divorce hearing.
There was a time people took this guy for a serious politician and now Iâm wondering if he thinks this is worth whatever he wants to achieve.
The big positive today, is that there is no longer any facade.
Over the last week, European leaders convinced themselves that Trump could be an allay. If Trump was smarter he could have killed Ukraine, with a thousand cuts. Taken little or no blame. He could even have painted himself as trying to help.
If there was any doubt who he really was, after today that is well and truly gone. There will be zero trust or confidence in the US as an allay, or as a trading partner. Itâs unstable, unethical and on the wrong side of history.
Will go down as one of the dumbest diplomatic interactions in history. Humiliating a leader, the victim on a world stage damages America greatly.
I checked out of American politics a bit after the election and just started the countdown for 2028. But whatever world/future I was counting down to no longer exists.
