We need Republicans and their backers to stand up to Trump. Fore me one of our best hopes is a fracture in that party (Maga vs republicans)

This fucking guy went to testify to the house ways and means committee today to defend the tariffs as we understood them this morning. Two hours into the session he was informed by a member of the committee of the 90 day pause this poor fucker knew absolutely nothing about. This despite Trump claiming he has been mulling the pause over for a couple of days, despite denying that 2 days ago.

The cult is lauding him as a divine genious. The Art of the Deal etc. But that is how it is and we know this is how they are.
What I find more worrisome are the low info people back home, in Norway, in your country; in Europe in general. They too hail this as remarkably admirable (and sure, it is not a big category of people, but too big).
Iâve stopped worrying so much about Americans and America (though I do pity some Trump voters and of course I have much sympathy for those who voted against him), but I do worry a lot about the influence MAGA has on âourâ less informed population segment.
I assume you have noticed the trend in Germany too (I cannot imagine it is very different from Norway), how the Far Right have adopted much of MAGA and is cheering for Trump and the United States.
These people,and they often call themselves Nationalists (but not always), are cheering on the US and Trump against their own country (and tend to have the same anti-Globalist/anti EU âagendaâ).

Slight digression regarding the AfD: I did see a worrisome IPSOS survey today (or yesterday, donât remember) though, where they polled above the CDU and were the biggest party. But of course, Bundestag poll not that important since there has just been an election. But even so. I didnât like the poll since it seems like they have wind in the sails amongst voters.

1/ He has lost it completely!
2/He is as cunning as a shithouse rat,probably him and his mates bought up
bigly and will sell before he puts them back in,take his 90 days with a pinch of salt.
3/Most wont trust him, and other countries will look for alternative and more reliable trading partners.
On top of all that he seems to have licenced burning as much coal as possible while I read on my milk carton this morning..recycle to save the environment for future generations..
