Here is context: Some magazine called Jezebel, probably wicca related, wrote an article that was some what ill timed considering the assassination, where they cursed Charlie Kirk, since he was vile and all of that.

Then the performative Right Wing in the US, grabs this (naturally), and now Meghan kelly, a well known US journalist with some pull, rants in the post above in this thread.
Then later, something about the US Immigration Police and their handling of deportees was posted above with some commentary.
@Limiescouse then shares a lovely and very human anecdote regarding someone he knows who is very hard nosed regarding immigration but was herself a refugee, originally from the Warzawa Pact Czechoslovakia; in response and ellaboration of the ICE post, to show case how far a refugee mother or father would go to place their own child in safety. I.e., she would sacrifice herself without a doubt (and all of this was a bit different from what her daughter said and thought and so on). I thought it was a lovely post, because sometimes people forget the psychological and human factor. The refugees in question, were able to jump off in Wien and then escape to the US.
There was absolutely good context and none of it was OOT.
