All I can say is that I’m ashamed of my own country. We are ruled by people who have no vision, no sense for public service, nor for any kind of morality.
The worst is that these ridiculous gifts are only a detail as far as I’m concerned. What is much worse is that we’ll now get a whole lot of US trash on our market, ie. flesh from animals grown up with GMO, which was prohibited until now. No US industrial product will be hit with any kind of tariff, and the Swiss economy will have to invest 200 billions in the US in the next five years.
As far as I’m concerned, I’d have preferred for us to ride the storm, and live with the 35% until that fat gibbon dies (can’t be too far away), while looking for other markets in the meantime.

Would be even better if every other country in the world ignored the american market and dealt with each other fairly etc…
Lets not pretend that trade under democrats is any fairer, the whole concept that america views the world is that they should benefit more than anyone else, the world could be more prosperous if everyone moved away from trading with america and a lot more peaceful.

For those who don’t know the story, Massie is a guy in his mid-50s whose wife, who he has been in a relationship with since they were in school together, died suddenly last year. The void that has to leave in your life, when you are someone who has legitimately never known what it is to be alone, is just something I cannot comprehend. For a public figure to mock him for finding a new partner “so soon” is absolutely disgusting. For it to come from one of the people who interpreted any comment of Charlie Kirk after his death as something that was making fun of his death… It’s just made me really Unusually enraged
