This is the problem we have today all over the world. AI, misinformation (often derived from disinformation) and disinformation.
Often this is to generate clicks and money, at other times, for a political purpose or influence people (which is worse, and called disinformation/propaganda). Misinformation is often very innocent, but the source behind the source of the misinformation, is not always so innocent.
And I am not saying this to attack anyone. This is hard for many, harder for some than others, and there is no use belittling people for not having adequate Media literacy, since that is hardly the best way to teach anyone to improve such skills.
Today, with the coming of Social Media and the loss of authority of editor controlled media, where everyone is his own editor, this has become a gigantic sociopolitical problem that infests the entire world. And with AI, it will get worse and worse and worse. Because the above is slop, but such misinformation and disinformation can also be created in a way to fool even critical people, unless they do research.
This is literally why some should not use Twitter after the Musk take over. Why it is dangerous for many. Itās dangeorus for me too, even though I am very, very good at it. But I have skills most people donāt have, I know this. I have studied both media history and I am literally taking a course in misinformation/disinformation right at this moment. Most people donāt have these skills. Most people are not able to be an editor and filter their information with any sort of prudence.
This is a very dangerous time we are living in. Far more dangeorus than a fake article on Clapton, that is just a symptom. I am very good at this, but I am fooled too at times. Everyone is. Not by the Clapton-stuff above, but by more sophisticated (or difficult to double check) misinformation/disinformation.
But I wish people were a bit more critical and read through the articles before they assumed they were proper information though.
And please stop using political memes to get information, I beg everyone. Political meme = propaganda without nuances. Often actually bullshit too, sometimes factual, but must be always double checked with searches.

Critical context - Werner Bros and its parent company is openly being shopped around and NBC is one of the most interested parties. This is not a normal story of M&A, but part of a story of how legacy pre-digital companies are scrambling to stay viable in this era. Comcast has very real concerns that the failure to land WBD, or worse to see it go to Paramount/Skydance, would risk a further break up of their company. In light of the changes Paramount have already made to ease through their acquisition by Skydance, this should absolutely be seen as a mafia style threat by the guy who will have to rubber stamp any acquisition.

This thing, Norway being a very, very good team that can even control games and win them by many goals; itās new and very novel 
When I was a kid, everyone feared playing Norway. We were ranked 2 from 1993-1994 and had a team that was incredibly hard to beat, designed by Egil Olsen. However, that team didnāt have very good players compared to other teams and could not control games, not have possession. And thatās why Egil Olsen made them fearsome. Defensively super strong, with big man on top, best at winning the second ball, quite shit technically.
Now, totally different ! We are actually among the better teams in many aspects of play. It is magnificent. And yes, novel. For me, this is the first time in my life I get to see such football. This qualification has been absoltutely ridiculous and yes, I am enjoying it very much. Most Norwegians with even a cursory interest in football is truly enjoying this. For me, this is bigger than club football (but also very different, as when the National Team plays horribly badly for many games, I stop watching, which is not the same with club football). That is just how it is. I am Norwegian, we are not blasĆØ when it comes to international football.
We are going to the World Cup and we truly deserve to be there, some journalists even think us Dark Horse. It is absolutely MAD ! It is bonkers. The generation we have now, itās just pinches arm to check if alive
I have suffered with absolute shite since around 2000. Thatās 25 years ! The National Team has been shit for 24 years (saw developement 3-4 years ago, but we were not stable then and itās only in 24-25, that the team finally gelded like now). Itās been utter darkness, deep down in Dante`s lower levels of hell. Now, not only is there sunlight, we are approching the gates of heaven !!!
