Absolutely. I skimmed down the Truth social timeline for 20 seconds. Honestly, this was far from the worst one. Stuff like Obliterate our enemies with a picture of Trump and more.

Separately, Low is wanted by interpol for a multi billion embezzlement case in Malaysia and so has fled to China and allegedly living in Macau in a state sponsored mansion. One of the things he is alleged to have done with that embezzled money was fund the production of the film the Wolf of Wall St.

Dismissed not on the merits of the case, but based on administrative issues related to the lack of standing from an illegal appointment of the prosecutor running the cases. That is actually worse for the DOJ than if the case fell apart on its merits.
Its in these moments you realize how far our country has fallen as this should be a career ending fuck up for Bondi, and in sane times she would not make to lunch time tomorrow in her role. It wont even be a front page story in today’s environment though. No one expects competence from them, and when they catastrophically fuck up as a result of very well projected incompetence that people were saying in real time “you really dont want to be doing that” everyone just shrugs.

They were instantly talking of an appeal , as if this was some minor lower court setback which would be swiftly rectified , or failing that getting it before the SC. But… the law is explicit ; they cannot appoint two interim prosecutors within 120 days. So what gives them optimism for any appeal ? Apart that is from the new DOJ mantra that if Donald Trump deems it legal then it must be so.
This regime’s incompetence is its only saving grace. If they were actually efficient and consistent they’d be doing even more damage.

It’s a pretty good card to play. The argument the DoJ and White House have used over her appointment if allowed would open the door to the Senate being cut out of the confirmation processes indefinitely. But there is no argument that is bad enough and that so few people even pretend to believe that this SC will not consider if it favours trump

Pity the poor policy wonk instructed to come up with something that squares with what Trump has already blasted out on social media. Right out of the gate, taxing people to then give them back their own money doesn’t make a great deal of sense. There is a transaction loss related to the ‘rebate’. If every citizen gets the rebate, the amount almost by definition will have to be insignificant compared to the cost of healthcare.
He has basically painted himself into a corner and raised the expectations of the economically illiterate MAGA base.
