Its about the contrast between ambition and competency. For someone like Kushner he simply doesnt know any other way to do business and I’m not sure he even appreciates how crooked it is. For people like Witkoff, its the opportunity to jump a tier of importance and success he wouldnt have been able to had he been forced to compete in normal business in Manhattan.

Tellingly , that hardly surprised me , he’s just the latest in a line of many , but I was interested when I learned the name of his ‘Pardon Czar’.

Biden’s preemptive pardons were understandably controversial but not without merit. Even someone who disagreed with them would have been lying by not acknowledging the real problem was the certain pending vindictive prosecutions we’ve now been saying.
