The rest of the time will be spend mostly on that Board of Peace bs I guess. Where Trump wants to crown himself King of the World. Added benefit of revenge for that escalator incident.
Yet still:
''Polls suggest that most Cuban American registered voters, who tend to be Republican, continue to support Mr. Trump"
Phew, that comes as a relief. David Beckham has arrived in Davos.
And trump is talking about windmills again at davos
At least he’s not talking about how no US toilet can manage his Big Mac fueled dumps.
Anway, pulled this from a US based journo’s comment…
Five stories from just the last 24 hours:
-
Minnesota police chief says ICE has been unconstitutionally stopping & pulling guns on his own off-duty officers who are brown/black.
-
The Social Security Administration referred two DOGE employees for Hatch Act violations after discovering contacts with a political group seeking SSA data to overturn election results.
-
Canada struck a historic trade deal with China, declaring them more “predictable” than the U.S., then its PM warned of a rupture with the U.S. and the “end of the rules-based international order.”
-
Trump quietly pardoned a slew of more white collar criminals, almost all of whom were convicted of fraud.
-
NYTimes released an editorial documenting how Trump has made $1.4 billion (with a “b”) dollars off the presidency in his first year in office – just on the publicly documented trades and transactions.
I admit that this has amused me (but not enough to post it previously, since it is kind of less important than the actual US driven events), watching the interview with Farage was certainly very funny.

Eternal Truth.
No one likes a traitor, certainly not Nationalists (who prefers to hang them). If your country is under attack by another country, it’s not very wise to push fanboy material of leader of said country.
European Nationalists are not going to just embrace Trump if he attacks the direct interests of their countries (since unlike Trump, they have ideology or philosophy that goes further than just “personal interest”).
This is like Wille Horton, except Trump is directly responsible for his release in a way Dukakis was not for Horton, and of course the guy isnt black
That pedo needs putting down. The insurrectionist too.
Personally, I would criticise the (as I have, all of us I think actually) reasoning for the pardon and the pardon; but this seems unrelated to me (that he happened to be a pedophile).
Personally, I also think that it was only foot soldiers who were charged and convicted anyway while their commanders and ideologues walked free (all of whom were far more guilty).
Therefore, the pardons have never really provoked me much (it’s just details imo) since those who were truly important to put behind bars for years were never covincted.
It’s like in the Russo-Ukrainian war. If a Russian lieutanant orders his platoon to shoot prisoners. I would rather prioritise killing/capturing the officer over those who actually pulled the trigger. But now I enter the realms of moral philosophy. Of course an individual is responsible for his own actions (not saying this isn’t the case !), but you guys more than well understand what I mean without further ellaboration, even though you may disagree with me.
Stewart Rhodes (Oath Keepers) and Enrique Tarrio (Proud Boys) were both pardoned , and were both doing sentences of around 20yrs , for their leading part in Jan 6.
You cannot know for sure what someone will do after you pardon and release them, but the lack of any sort of process, which is a requirement for something so indefensible by rule of law, makes this sort of thing inevitable and highlight the lack of any sort of justification for the original decision.
nods
I don’t disagree.
It’s merely that my personal sense of justice is such that when the true criminals behind the insurrection all walked free, (while only active members of the mob were convicted) keeping the little guys in prison when the big guys are not there; well it honestly feels just so-so just and to me personally; it makes keeping them in prison for many years only so-so relevant to justice.
But thst is due to my sense of justice and not any law of course. In the real world, Men are not equal , as we observe.
But of course, its an ultra obvious abuse of power to pardon them. But that’s not my point.
Sure, many of them were rubes. But beyond issues of justice, the signal these pardons send is incredibly poisonous. People have now been shown that knowingly committing crimes in the interest of advancing Trump’s agenda, even if it is a violent crime, will be protected and rewarded by Trump himself.
Agreed
Trump just told the Swiss in Davos that without the US they would be speaking German

Idiot savant. Without the savant.
