I guess it’s an older clip, and it’s just being recycled to show how hypocritical and awful the whole thing is. And then, on a positive, people who wouldn’t otherwise be reached will see it.
A lot of these people are just drunk on power. They are not following some deep rooted ideology but just getting a kick out of experiencing no consequences.
Miller lives for this shit thought and has dedicated his life to getting into a position where he could do the things he’s doing now.
It’s really difficult to express how absurd this was and how reputationally damaging it should be for him to have come out and say this. He has just come out for comprehensive immigration reform and undermined his own core arguement, airing a realization that his opponents have been saying since forever.
He isn’t really in charge of his own administration though so it will have no impact on how these policies are actually carried out
