People forget how quickly it got bad in the first term and how the “just give him a chance” people were shown to dilettantes. The Muslim ban was in January. Comey was fired in May. Sure this is far worse, but so many comments reference a perception that the response from the public is not meeting the moment and is less pronounced than it was last time. Like I said, I havent reviewed the methodology, but this shows just the opposite.

The proposed U.S. travel ban expansion, as of June 15, 2025, includes 36 countries under consideration: Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Cambodia, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Dominica, Ethiopia, Egypt, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, South Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. This list is not final, as the policy is still under review with a 60-day period for countries to meet security requirements.
