Funny thing about the Greenlanders having to rescue the US submariner is they actually have a joke about this. They say they don’t need to worry about national defense because if anyone tried to invade the Greenlanders would have to send out a rescue team to save them from the elements.

DHS announced this morning that TSA pre check was being shut down as of today due to the congressional budget stand off. No one told TSA though so most airports still had their pre check working and before lunch time DHS announced they’d changed their mind

I am aware we are not in the UK Politics thread, so I can’t be arsed quoting every time you have referred to Reform voters as being Racist and pull you up on your hypocrisy re: putting words in other peoples mouths.
I am all for reflecting on my own actions, I mean I seem to be the only one who gets pulled up on my indiscretions, apologises if someone finds offence with what I say.
I will be clear I do not post on this forum to be a WUM, I do so because I always question my own views, whether it be political or on how we performed in our last game and I will try and support my point with Sources - to the point where I only use media which has been generally accepted by the majority as not being RW.
I will happily hold my hands up and accept my views/rationale challenge the majority on this forum rightly or wrongly and that sometimes I may go off on an a tangent - usually because there are so many people trying to challenge me, at times purely on grammar or for putting thumbs up emojis on my replies.
I have experienced poster(s) - I won’t mention names - who will jump in on a discussion I am having with another poster purely on premeditated feelings towards me. I then get the rhetorical, “this is why people get frustrated with you”, “you’ve been told by a number of people”, “your a racist”, “your the problem”, do you not see the controlling tone, shutting down an opinion because it challenges your own view. It’s funny because I can already imagine a number of posters, fingers on keyboard, chomping at the bit to respond, seeking like/lol emojis just to seek reassurance/satisfy their ego’s.
So, like you, I would love to hold a conversation based on mutual understanding and tolerance, It would definitely be a lot more constructive. But as I alluded to, it’s a two way thing and requires both parties to be open minded and willing to have their views challenged.

Ignore momentarily the interest in this being completely at odds with his own VP’s stated conclusion about the impact this group has had on the community. This is just a gross perspective. How about removing their TPS being wrong because we made a promise to these people and its immoral to have them wake up and find the deal has been unilaterally changed.
