Yesterday a racism controversy erupted online over Gavin Newsome allegedly contextualizing his poor performance at school by saying his poor grades and low test scores made him just like a black person. Unsurprisingly that is not at all what happened. He in no way at all linked his mediocre school performance to being black and that is an invention of a RW agitator account called “End Wokeness”.

OpenAI(ChatGPT) is coming under intense scrutiny, because it appears the Tumbler Ridge shooter was exploring the idea of the shooting using Chat GPT - OpenAI banned the account, but did not notify law enforcement anywhere.

Christ I missed this until today - Jay Bhattacharya is the head of the NIH, but was announced last week as the new acting head of the CDC. These are both hugely important positions and its a mark of how just clownish and how disinterested they are in doing the actual job that they think this sort of dual appointment is viable. Even if one is only in an acting capacity.

So to clarify, his comment does not offend me. I interpreted it in the same manner as you. However, the terminology has its history and could quite easily, in my opinion, be interpreted differently.
