If you liked Iraq, you will love Iran.
Yeah, just can bear his spin and agenda; which is Russiaâs. All he is doing is parroting their official line to Americans.
Yep, thatâs my fear. Shit show incoming. And the military industrial complex is funded for the next cycle. Ugh.
Yeah, how are they going to remove the regime exactly, this i wonder. Or do they just in fact intend to just bomb industrial targets and only industrial targets. How do they calibrate.
Oh, it could be worse than that. If this goes awry, US will be stuck with an enormour degree of its assets and so will unlock a time span for China to invade Taiwan with the US on the backfoot to react.
Part of the âunforseen consequencesâ that these people seem to blissfully ignore.
I think I see another shitstorm brewing. ICE is stepping up activity in St. Lawrence County, NY - which is sort of a weird choice because the border crossing there is one of the mid-sized ones (no major cities on either side of the border, the bridges near Montreal and Kingston are busier).
However, what makes that crossing notable is Akwesasne. Akwesasne is a Haudenosaunee territory that straddles the US-Canadian border. Under the 1795 Jay Treaty, the Haudenosaunee (colloquially and in the US formally the nation at Akwesasne are known as Mohawk) are allowed to cross the border freely within their traditional territory without need of any documentation other than proof of their status as Mohawk. Citizens of Akwesasne crossing the border for daily needs are a large percentage of the traffic.
I strongly doubt the bright lights at ICE now understand or accept the rights in the Jay Treaty. I also wonder if they understand the militant strain among that community. While overall they are good citizens and neighbours, 30 some years ago that burst out into the Oka Crisis near Montreal.
Just read something now. A change of sub-topic, if you will

Albania was a bit of a surprise to me! But honestly, itâs likely a better life in Albania than being poor in America.
The problem with Tucker is his motivation. He shows here he can be an excellently sharp interviewer. The issue with Tucker has always been that he is an awful person with abhorent views and so you need to be careful to not just nod along with what heâs doing because wherever the line is for a reasonable person in cases that interest him he will go way over that. But itâs also relevant when he chooses to be sharp and exact in his questioning vs when he chooses to be incredibly credulous (see his belief in South African white genocide and his role in mainstreaming that into the US right).
Lovett articulates that pretty well in this clip

The menâs team received a congratulatory call from Trump, who invited them to his State of the Union address and said he would have to ask their female counterparts as well or he âprobably would be impeachedâ.
The womenâs team later declined an invitation from Trump to attend Tuesdayâs speech in Washington DC.
Seems an unlikely opinion to be held by the Pentagon and I doubt someone who works for âThe Ron Paul Instituteâ has deep ties to our defence network.
Israel attacked Iran in 2025 and gained total air superiority almost immediately.
âWinningâ isnât the issue - itâs what comes after it that is the problem.
Sure, but I think most senior military types are aware that they are often still left holding the bag on the after and so are evaluating the plans from that perspective. I mean its been widely reported that even Caine the chairmain of the Joint chiefs of staff is firmly against any sort of large scale military engagement

Yeah but that shows that there are differences of opinion that donât immediately lead to being fired like the first source suggested. I did look him up and he apparently has long standing ties to Russia so I canât take that source seriously and strongly doubt there are any links to senior military sources there.
I share Caineâs desire to avoid war of course.
This is a shallow hope in some waysâŚ

- Iraq-II
- Afghanistan
- Libya (to an extent)

Staying power and commitment is key and unless there is something in it for the US, it is only a sore spot for the next decade or two. I sometimes wonder if people fully comprehend the consequences of the actions that the US is undertaking. For example, if policies are proving fruitful, will continue (no matter the hue of the elected individual) and things like Venezuela and potentially Iran, will saddle the next 3-4 administrations with the exit strategy.
The Epstein stuff is broadly a distraction that actually serves (perversely) as a shield to the broader maladies. Trump really is irrelevant and is a sympton. The movement and its acceptance by a swathe of the population is the issue. Going after him serves no purpose other than to distract from the actual malady - the disenfranchisement of generations in the pursuit of fueling a system rather than the empowering the people.
And Dems learned that there is a big political cost to pay to exiting someone elseâs war, even when it is an unpopular war and people are claiming exiting is the right thing to do. The second you do it becomes the [insert Dem president]'s Saigon.

Khomeini has been dead for 25 years
He works for the Kremlin. His interests are exactly 100 percent those of the Kremlin. He deserves being assassinated by GUR, not reposts because he also happens to front Russiaâs a bit more reasonable position on Iran.
I live in the hope he will get his due one of these days, like Daria Dugin and Simonyan. He deserves death, not getting to live on. Slim difference between Carlson and Josef Goebbels. Carlson knows better, he is not Marjorie. There is no excuse what so ever for the likes of him.
About 20 years ago when Tucker was still doing his bowtie schtick as the friendly conservative you will listen to but disagree with on CNN I had the misfortune of being stuck with him and his extended family in a Caribbean departure lounge while on a delay. We pieced together there had been a Carlson family wedding or anniversary or something they were all returning from. Unsurprisingly, they were all every bit as disgusting, as entitled, and hostile to the local west indian airport staff as youâd imagine theyd be.
I am fully expecting this all to end horribly, because with politicians it always does, but this is such a pleasant palate cleanser
First time AoC pops on the screen it looks like bad AI ![]()
