Most people had stopped caring by the time this story broke, but the key witness in Trump’s plan to link Biden to self-dealing in Ukraine was found to be a Russian intelligence asset who was ultimately convicted for lying to the FBI.
The DoJ under Trump has been working with him to get his conviction quashed
Come to the US to pick our crops. Your life can alternate between indentured servitude (the good times) and running from the law who dont care about your papers
The journalist was entirely correct. refusing to answer a direct question and responding with personal attacks of the person asking the question is not an answer nor is it an on the record comment about the issue being raised.
He is very MAGA. Many of those who are very MAGA (aka otherwise awful) are really fucking pissed about this war. Examples such as Tucker Carlson and that woman I cannot be bothered to google.
All of this makes the likes of Vance more pathetic too. And Eldbridge Colby. Think-Tank “genious” who is now supporting the opposite of what he supposedly has been in favour of.
I think it was Dominic LeBlanc who said last night that any decision to deploy Canadian forces would not be in response to a post on social media. Here we are less than three days later, and there is another post on social media.
Hi everyone — this is my first post here so go easy on me.
I’ve been following the situation with Iran and I wanted to share my thoughts because I feel like a lot of the discussion online leaves out the perspective of people who support Trump’s approach.
From my point of view, Trump’s stance on Iran has always been pretty straightforward: Iran can’t be allowed to get nuclear weapons.
What I’ve always respected about his approach is that he doesn’t really dance around the issue. He’s pretty blunt about it. The argument seems to be that if the Iranian government keeps pushing its nuclear program and backing militant groups in the region, then there have to be real consequences. Otherwise they’ll just keep pushing further.
Some people say that approach is too aggressive, but I think the idea behind it is more about deterrence. If Iran believes the U.S. will actually respond strongly, then it might stop them from crossing certain lines in the first place. In that sense, the pressure is supposed to prevent a bigger conflict later.
I’m not saying Trump handles everything perfectly — no politician does — but on Iran I do understand the logic behind his position. A nuclear Iran would change the balance of power in the Middle East in a huge way, and I think he’s trying to make sure that never happens.
Anyway, those are just my thoughts. I am very pro Trump (my username might give it away).
