Are you talking about the protests?

This was the third “No Kings” protest, all of which have had estimated numbers of 10 million plus nationwide. Also, there have been daily protests against ICE in Minnesota, California, Maine, Texas, among other states.

Being a country so large and disparate makes it difficult to get massive protests in single locations, though I truly believe that a mass march on DC, say of millions of people, would move the needle a touch.

I knew about the protests that had already taken place, but I was expecting one to take place right after the war started, not after several weeks had passed. My impression is that as unpopular as this war appears to be, there is remarkably little pushback both in Congress and from the people.

Better late than never, I guess.

This protest had been scheduled some time ago. Saw numerous anti-war sentiments on signs at our gathering.

Was very happy to see so many protesters worldwide yesterday too.

I found this quite interesting as I was not familiar with the case and it’s subsequent path through the years since it’s ruling and why it has been bought to light now - beyond the obvious play?

I was in this thread for the first time in two weeks today because, for health reasons, it’s just not good for me right now. All this crap is really getting to me. I’ve now had an overdose of bullsh*t, and I have no idea how I’m going to cope with it today. Jesus Christ :face_with_spiral_eyes::upside_down_face:

I’d like to leave this here.

Does anyone know anything about this “stupid lawsuit”? Btw

Has he been reading Napoleon, but without his vision and his relatively advanced ethics and sense of justice (for the time) ?

Canadians will be over the moon about that,so will Greenland, but they can take comfort from the fact Hegseth was MIA,when brains were handed out.

For people who maybe don’t know that project so well: take a look at the small building just beneath of that mega-project, at the bottom of the pic, on the right. It’s the Brandenburger Tor. Just above, you can see the Reichstag, a monster of a building in its own right, but completely dwarfed by the Hitler/Speer project.

The Mythos Germania exhibition in Berlin is well worth a visit.

As for Hegseth he can talk about whatever he wants they are going get bogged down in Iran for the foreseeable future whether they want to or not. Unless they admit defeat. Would Trump do that?

He would take a defeat but insist it was victory and do so often enough that enough other people start treating it as a serious position.

The same as “it is actually a legitimate legal position that if you are president there is no such thing as illegal”
