Drill Baby Drill...the US Politics Thread (Part 3)

It’s not a strategy.
Sometimes Trump seems surprisingly mentally agile for his age (my mother remarked not long ago that it was a shame that the bastard had such uncanny energy for an old man in his 80s, and imo she has a point), but mostly, 90 percent of the time, it is the opposite. He is a fruitcake mentally 90% of the time and unfortunately the fruitcake is, to use Judeo-Christian terminology, evil.

It’s literally impossible that it is 4D Chess or some sinister plot. He is not Nicollo Machiavelli or Cardinal Richelieu. And he is not Josef Stalin and not Adolf Hitler. He is a dumb version of Caligula.

Edit: Not meant to pick on you and say that your thoughts are wrong, I am just highly confident in my opinion here (that he is an ignorant idiot) and so state it.

US House Speaker Mike Johnson on refusing to pass Senate’s funding bill

Johnson … It’s Chuck Schumer’s fault

Reporters asked proper questions and giving dire examples, and we are still getting shit answers.

TSA agents selling blood plasma to pay bills …

Reporter: The American people are just sick and tired of every one of you, both Republicans and Democrats, come to this podium and blame the other side. People have been standing in lines three, four, five hours at a time. There’s TSA workers that are selling their plasma. At what point is a leader on either side going to stand up and say, we have a path forward that everyone will agree to? This vote today will extend the shutdown under any circumstance.

Johnson: No it won’t

Wouldn’t surprise me if was given a pay off from the one that wasn’t taken off line.

Long tale cut short.

This was US all along , just that the veneer has finally been allowed to be stripped off

Us allowed their Ally to do an utter genocide in the order of millions in Bangladesh and then protected that ally for the 4-5 decades that followed.

And that’s just one example.

It is astonishing to see this on the official State Department feed.

Than the tramp, or Tangerine Don?

Total gaslighting. The only time Article 5 of NATO has been involved was in 2001 by the USA. Obviously, that is aimed at a domestic audience who don’t know any better.

When he says stupid shit like that I think it is a big assumption that he knows he is talking shit. He is a moron who struggles to process information with loads of people reporting that he just hears and interprets whatever he wants to hear. And we also have lots of reporting on how bad the presidential briefs are, with them increasingly prepared by sycophants who are more focused on including what he wants to hear than what the president needs to hear.
