Like the proverbial frog that’s gets boiled alive gradually, they’re too far gone because to wake up would be to admit they were wrong, that they were duped and basically stupid as fuck and they’re not going to do that. The majority of them are in this to the bitter end simply because they cannot admit their own culpability.
As for the MAGA ‘Christians’. Who knows what they are because it’s not really Christian anymore, is it. They’re far lost down the long road and they have no idea; the hate, the injustice that they not just tolerate but advocate for… yeah, nothing that Trump does will invalidate himself to them because that invalidates them with the pastors of these churches being entirely complicit in the process from 2015 to the desperate hole America, and the world, is in today.
I must say it very much reminds of Calvinism in Apartheid here in South Africa. ‘God given rights’, ‘the ends justify the means’, ‘racial superiority’ etc. Abhorrent.

The dirty undercurrent with what Vance is saying is part of the MAGA, nativist agenda. Keep out the foreigners, or the country and the culture will be gone. That’s the scaremongering tactic they trade off.
I’ve heard people here tell me what a shame it is that the UK has Sharia Law. When I tell them that it doesn’t, they don’t know what to say. I inform people that there are Sharia Councils, to settle disputes within the religion and its application, which you would have in other religions too, but as far as the law of the land is concerned, sharia Law has no statutory authority under English Law.
Vance is up to no good.
