It’s strange that you can get anywhere near an event like that carrying a weapon of any kind. So, grossly incompetent security at the very least. Not going to speculate further until some more information emerges.
Of course it doesn’t help that there’s so much about the ear pillow incident that doesn’t add up.
Watching the video they just seem like they are sat around having a chat, crazy thing is it resembled our former summer ball entrance at the end of the night when everyone’s in.

It’s held I a big popular hotel with ongoing business that far exceeds this event so the security is explicitly focused on the perimeter of the ballroom hosting the event. The incident here happened outside the security perimeter so is not in itself a failure of the security.
But this is one of the purported “benefits” of the new WH ballroom that events like this can be self contained with the WH security system. Is it possible they did a false flag for something as dumb as justifying his ball room.
You would have to get the entire security team onside for that. That’s a lot people that need to be vetted and bribed.

Furthermore, I’m wondering, are all future public events where he’s only a guest going to take place in this ballroom? What kind of logic is that? Would that mean he won’t leave the White House for such occasions anymore, and everything will take place there from now on? Apart from the official presidential events that he himself organizes, are they now lumping everything together? That’s very, very strange.
