Again, this mass deportation policy was never about removing criminals, at least not in any commonly shared meaning of the word. It is just their stupid word play where āillegalā means people they dont like, and so now they are trading the hard work of tracking down and removing actual criminals to get the more lower hanging fruit of people they just call ācriminalsā. Because words dont matter, only the feeling they generate in peopleās gut when they are used in a specific way.
This is not what the overwhelming majority of even Trump voters voted for. They supported his immigration stance because they believed there was an open border that needed to be closed (there isnāt). They believed the population of people here without legal status are criminal and a public safety problem (they arenāt). They believed Trumpās policy would focus on getting the ābad Hombresā and just naively assumed that everyone had the same understanding of who that applied to.
Again, the modern Republican party donāt just have bad ideas. It is that they are bad at doing the things they say they want to do and in the end are only capable of handing control of the country over to big business, polluters, and religious extremists.

Billions of dollars have just been put into ICE so they can scoop up more gardeners, fruit pickers and construction workers to make America safe again. Human misery will be off the charts as families are ripped apart.

I think the idea of building up the manpower numbers in ICEā¦ which I feel will steadily increase year upon yearā¦ is to gain Trump a personal army when the time comes around for the next (NON) election.
Anyone that thinks another Presidential election will ever take place againā¦ needs to look hard at the manner in which absolute control is being seized week by weekā¦
