Really? Because whenever Iâve heard someone like Rupert Lowe talking about immigration, it ainât to bring more immigrants into the country. Theyâd argue that the Tories betrayed the working class in the UK, which is why the Conservatives will (likely) get annihilated in the next election and Reform will (likely) win.
Maybe, but they are a tiny minority with zero power.
Meanwhile the right wingers are trashing the constitution and tearing up habeas corpus while siphoning off ever more billions to the top one percent and slashing aid to the poor, but thatâs all ok because you donât like âwokeâ stuff.

What Iâm saying is that Democratic Party has become so disconnected from the average American that it canât mount a concerted opposition to the Republican Party.
During the election campaign, Donald Trump told you exactly what he was going to do. The whole country saw what he did on Jan 6, during COVID, and all the other incompetencies during his first term. And Americans looked at the Democratic Party and said âYeah, Iâd rather have the crazy guy in the red hat.â How bad do you have to be to lose to that?
When you decrease your vote share in 3,142 out of 3,144 counties, youâve really got to start doing something different. And with Democrats plumbing all-time approval rating lows at this very day, they arenât.
Yes really. Under the tories immigration was through the roof, while they dismantled asylum processing resources, and deliberately distanced the UK from France with whom the solution to the small boats issue ultimately gets resolved.
And of course Brexit, a right wing construct removed all cooperative protections. A right winger will never admit that a border has 2 sides.

They fricking love strong and big government. Like any authoritarians, itâs about purging the politcial or personal enemies and replacing them and the money with their people and money for their buddies. Itâs about total control of government (and society), not replacing it.

As for borders, most of the west of America was taken by force from Mexico, and the Mexican people who now live in America are, for the most part, just living in places that for centuries were part of Mexico anyway.
