and the lettuce wins handily…she’s out already
My phone pinged with an FT notification about 45 secs ago.
And the NEW scaramucchi…

well that was short and sweet…
I guess this goes to show that even with the most robust vetting and candidate evaluation process, not every hire is going to be a winner
She lasted 5 days…
The first was a bank holiday so she technically didnt start until Tuesday. And she was fired by lunch on Friday. She worked 3 days, and in that time did as many Fox news hits as she did briefings.
She is putting up stats we will never see the likes of again.
Hope springs eternal.
RFK Jr. proposes FDA look the other way on unproven peptides, report says
FDA scientists said none of the popular drugs have been proven safe or effective.
He isn’t just proposing looking the other way. They have already taken actions on this, in direct opposition to what the career scientists proposed (no health benefits of the collection under consideration and legit safety concerns), to make it easier for the charlatans he placed on the FDA panel to make money by selling them.
It’s kind of small potatoes if you just consider the “peptides” part of it, but its an approach that desperately erodes faith in the process for anyone watching, and is in direct contradiction to everything they said they believed in during covid.
Neverrubbish Liz again, she was a stayer compared to Katie.
Great band name.
the act of a desperate man trying to win the midterms?
whats the bets he’ll change his mind after the midterms?
He is that far up Putins arse already, this effort is having an each way bet,the damage has already been done with Starlink,it would take a lot more than Trump’s “wasn’t me” effort to convince anyone.
great video in this link…
i liked the part…
“When you have got big questions about US involvement with Ukraine and Iran or anything else, they need to be handled by somebody who takes them seriously and knows what there doing and not someone who’s a laughing stock in the job"”
she could be talking about Katie Zacharia or Donald…
It is so obvious that Putin has had the goods on Trump for years, and could sink him without trace if he wanted to. Hence Trump has consistently shown he is a Russian asset, time and time again. His backers can not, will not, see it, but it is so obvious.
Edit
And when Trump says it is not in the US National interest, he means it is not in his own interest to do anything that Russia objects to.
Not even sure it does that, I actually think such a move massively damages them. They won’t win this on Maga vote. This will likely keep some Republicans at home.
Blockade on the oil as well as the struggles in producing it will remain.
The perfect example of the absurd double standards that exist for a Republican and Democratic administration. If this happened on a Dem’s watch everything would grind to halt with the press demanding answers and those answers being forensically examined for the slightest degree of inconsistency that they would then be held accountable for. This admin just gets to shrug and say “you expect us to know what is happening in our own government?” and get to move on with that being an acceptable answer.

Compare this to how Susan Rice was treated over the Benghazi attack, something that happened to us where information about what happened was fuzzy and contradictory, and how that became a stain on Clinton’s presidential candidacy.
There is a whisper among DC insiders that is growing louder that Trump’s CoS, Susie Wiles set up Zacharia for what she thought was a fluff piece on Hannity not knowing the brief was to grill and expose her.
Wiles started getting some negative exposure due to reporting of her daughter’s involvement with Kremlin linked politicians in the Balkans. Reporting on that started linking Wiles directly and there is a growing belief that Natalie Harp tried to get Trump’s attention on that story and so Wiles decided to knife one her confidante’s by setting her up with the Hannity appearance
