There is no such thing as an acceptable republican anymore. They have forfeited their right to be part of the future democratic process and anyone who is still a member needs to dissociate completely or deserves to be tainted by association. No reasonable person would say Daesh should get a say in how the US is run; the republican party needs to be seen in a similar light as totally cancerous to the body politic and unfit to be included. Trump is merely a symptom of the underlying evil that is now at the heart of the republican party.

This is one of the most important people in US news, the editor of Politico, arguing that a private citizen giving brief comments to the waiting press before getting in her car is a comparable level of restricted press access to the president banning news orgs from the press pool simply because he doesnt like their coverage of him

She isnāt the US presidentā¦ she isnāt even a senator or congress personā¦ the Media are so cooked, they might as well run āTrump approved this message at the end of any postā.
Maybe focus a bit more on those in power like a President who bans the media or perhaps that cadaver senator they keep wheeling out who evidently isnāt fucking in this realm anymore.

Mike Walz, Trumpās former National Security advisor, the guy credited with looping in the journos to their illegal top secret signal chat, went on CNN to argue the current bans on the press were justified for these national security reasons. He cited the reports of the missile depletion and was immediately corrected on that being something made public by the pentagonās own Inspector General

The official statement from the White House justifying their exclusion of a collection of media outlets cites one story of an unnamed source claiming they think Iran is willing to come to a deal to end the war. The White House claim publishing this was a threat to national security as it impacted the negotiations.
The source for that claim has now been revealed. It was JD Vance.
So the white house is banning the press for reporting what the white house told them to publish.

I dont know why this says FL-22, because that is not his district. He is running for a district over in the Tampa area, which is a very Dem seat so the chance of someone who touts himself as MAGA Mike was always very slim that he could win, and certainly not in this environment. But when even someone who knows they are going to lose and brands himself MAGA tries to distance themselves from Trumpā¦

Whenever I get people coming to the door as they canvas support for votes, I try to focus the conversation on the singular Trump issue. If they donāt pass that aspect, I tell them I couldnāt possibly vote for them as they either lack bravery to do the right thing, or they are morally bankrupt if they think that supporting Trump is ok.
In the instances where common ground over Trump is quickly established, the conversation can move on to other issues.

Nothing beats otter feeding time. They have so much character. Well probably depends on whether you have kids and what age they are.
Goat petting is a favourite as well but a nightmare for parents due to the smell and hygiene concerns.
