The last 20 proved grav and sozbo cant be in same team.
After 3rd Maddison literally runs through and theres no one in our middle for 30 yards.

Game showed the point I said in the other thread. Szobo needs to be at the front of the midfield 3 instead of Wirtz if we want him in the side. So he can run as he likes and shoot a lot, without worrying about the build up play or runners as much.

See, you put him where he’s naturally good, surprise surprise he’s actually pretty damn good! When you have a pure and powerful strike like that, it’s a waste to have him play deeper in midfield

Play him the furthest forward of the three as an advanced eight or even a 10. He will do a 7/10 job on average.
100% agree with this, also far more physical presence too.
IF we want him in the side.
I personally would play Wirtz and drop Szobo to the bench or right back because I think Wirtz would offer more for our 3 forwards and Szobo would offer them little, but I see why we´d drop Wirtz for Szobo, given Wirtz´s form.
Where was Szobs physical presence did he win any duels?

I think a lot has been answered.
Gakpo is back up striker. Till Etitike comes back. And deserved his goal.
Szoboszlai at the 10 is good competition for Wirtz as it puts him in position blasts shots from anywhere near box.
Nyoni needs to play more.
Macca, Gakpo and Araujo are integral to this team’s success. Players some of us wrote off before the season.
Thumbs up to the kids. They were great. Love the energy.
Grav and Dom should not be on the pitch at the same time… they leave gaps in midfield…

Honorable mention and not just for lasting 45 minutes goes to Joe, who was excellent and him and Kerkez completely shut down our left side in that 1st half.
