They spent a shitload on the stadium and need to get their money’s worth. There were a few years when they played games at league grounds whilst Wembley was being rebuilt. It did wonders for the atmosphere by all accounts

New Wembley was finished like 15 years ago if I’m not mistaken. Since then almost every match is being played there.
Surely most people going to the matches are from the London area and the South.
Isn’t that a bit stupid? What about families from the rest of the country?

This Spain team have got us on the ropes. They are too quick and too good. We would have no chance against them in The Works Cup final, if we got there.

England aren’t playing bad in possession, but no end product or quality in the final pass or cross and the defence centrally is really all over the place.
