I don’t think he can provide any information on the abuse without incriminating himself. The sharing of information is another thing entirely due to the paper trail. imo once again.
The life that Andrew has known is over. Privilege. Esteem. Contacts. Travel. Luxury. All the trappings we could list out … it’s over.
So what does he want to do with the rest of his time?
He has an opportunity to blast this thing wide open, so that justice might be served. He would incriminate himself, but even as a worst case scenario he would probably get a favorable jail situation similar to Ghislaine Maxwell now, or maybe even be placed under house arrest in his lodge at Sandringham, similar to what he already does.
Regardless of what it might lead to, Andrew still has a chance to do the right thing, even at this late stage. It feels like justice is coming for him as the walls tighten in. He should get ahead of it and share everything he knows. He will go down in history as a wrong ‘un, that’s unstoppable. But he might go down in history as a wrong ‘un who finally did the right thing.

I think you are quite right, and it will be a real shame if he continues to try to avoid proper scrutiny and accountability.
The Royal family won’t protect him as before, when his mother was alive. And there’s a growing desire for the authorities, on both sides of the Atlantic, to question him. It feels like justice is coming and I just wish he would have the honor to fall on his sword, metaphorically speaking.

I’d have thought it virtually impossible for him to do the right thing at this late stage. Just going back to the Maitlis interview , he would have to basically admit that he lied his way through the entire thing. I don’t think he could do that. He’d sooner go to jail and paint himself a martyr and the victim of a miscarriage of justice than he would make a clean breast of it and hope for a lenient sentence. imo

I don’t think there’s enough of a threat to him. It needs a threat of jail time I think, which means some real evidence coming out.

Furthermore , the worst of his legal exposure comes not from the sex scandal (Epstein and Giufre are both dead and that just leaves a convict’s word against his ) but from passing secrets. You could easily see him getting little more than a slap on the wrist for that particular indiscretion.

This assumes people like Andrew think he genuinely has something to answer for and I dont think he does. I dont think that is how that level of the Elite think about rules, and so if there is a justice to be done it is against the people who have upset his life over the past decade or so.

Was about to say the same thing. Entitlement drips off Andrew. His predilections are well known and have been for years. He doesn’t think he has done anything wrong, and every young woman he has forced himself on or used his power gradient to leverage sex with, he sees as within his rights. He’s fourth in line to the throne, or whatever. If he wants to fuck it, he should be allowed to fuck it.
I know this isn’t the royals thread, but they have indulged and sheltered him for years. And that ‘devine right’ attitude permeates the lot of them. The only reason he has been cut off is because public pressure has forced them to. It’s self preservation - nothing more than that.
I hope a massive scandal blows the fucking lid off the whole embarrassing shitshow of having a total family in 2026.

That is the thing. A lot of the clicks around this are from people who are curious/envious of how that world lives. They would readily give up their prized testicle (or some other bodily part) to be part of it.
