Epstein Abuse Ring

There is no way Epstein committed suicide. None.

He was silenced.

He had enough kompromat to sink entire political and economic leadership classes of multiple major countries.

This is from a piece in Bloomberg about Brad Karp, one of the partners in Paul Weiss, the first high powered legal firm that bowed down to Trump. His association with the Epstein files has given more context to that decision that people are exploring now, but look at this bit about Ken Starr. This is the same Ken Starr who led what people today think of as the Clinton-Lewinski investigation. That was something that started as a (partisan) investigation into the Clinton’s finances that related to business deals they had back in Alabama before getting into the White House. He only later diverted into an investigation into of an extra marital affair and justified that diversion because of Starr’s deeply held religious convictions and insistence that immorality be rooted out

The names with the most focus currently do not surprise me. All people of yesterday. Focus hard on them and dilute it. Its sphere is all over the populist right.

Flood the grid and all that, the problem is all of Trump’s inner circle is there. Tech billionaires are also there and they control large swathes of public misinformation.

Likes of Mandelson are convenient scapegoats as is Fergie because no one cares whether they end up fucked. People of less importance better hope they are squeaky clean as they will be washed away, Mandelson is also the type to happily take people with him.

Here’s hoping. I’m hoping for a Tyler Hamilton moment.

Is this the externalisation of the special relationship, i.e. is the relationship ultimately based on familiarity of process? Mandelson was an ā€œinā€, he knew the players and how they played - particularly in the context of Trump. He was a choice that was most likely to facilitate the continuation of the special relationship.

Mandelson was a sinical choice - they gambled and lost.

I wonder who the Conservatives would have had. JRM, BJ or someone like Wallace - all choices are compromised?

What choice did Labour/Starmer have?

Things I wish I didn’t just hear…

Andrew had a threesome with Epstein and a stripper.

The stripper was Gulliani

Maybe there were better choices for Labour* - I am not familiar with what was on the carte.

I was more highlighting that he was not a complete old boy’s network choice but one made with the backdrop of the pressure to deliver to deliver and not rock the boat… Clearly the wheels are somewhat coming off but there was probably a plan that worked in some minds.

edit - * than they made

I’m never posting that pic of me in a mankini.

Stop asking.

His whole life is strange. You have to ask how did someone with no qualifications (no degree) become a teacher at a posh school. Again with no background go on to get hired by one of the biggest investment banks, to then go on to be key person for the super rich (be it loaning money, sex or influence). It inherently feels so wrong his journey.

From a teacher with no qualifications in your 20s to criminal super rich mastermind by early 30s?

I don’t believe he is a genius or mastermind (certainly does not come across that way from his emails), his journey is too improbable. For someone that comes from an ordinary non wealthy family.

Despite it being a conspiracy I an increasingly leaning that it was Israeli or Russian agent. The trajectory of his life, the access tens of million of money to loan to politicians and royalty. The seeming cover to run a sex ring.

I struggle to believe that if presidents, senior politicians and royalty were all involved in a web that a government was not involved providing cover or protection,

Serendipity. (He happened to be teaching a daughter of some banking bigwig who took a shine to him.)

Posting this in an Epstein thread is wrong I think.
