Damsgaard has been really good so I am not sure how much they really miss him. But on his day, Eriksen is really fantastic of course. But I am not so sure they miss him that much considering his replacement and how he has done.

Very exciting this, swingy and entertaining. Both teams attacks. Denmark impress me far more though, given they have more limitations in their squad.

Danes playing through the England midfield like its not there getting at back 4 far too easily. Its a shame we don’t have a Champions league and league winning captain midfielder sat on bench.

Its due to the modern mentality of retaining possession its seen as turning ball over easily.
England trying to force the ball through the middle of the pitch. is like trying to force-feed a 2yo. it will never work . use the width, fellas. they’re playing a low block in final 1/3rd

Denmark is much more impressive than England, mate. Denmark is playing well, creating chances. England is playing better, creating more. But was that not expected by everyone and their dog ? More is expected of England than of Denmark and so it should be. That is not Pan-Scandinavian bias, it is realistic expectations. When I say I am impressed by Denmark I don’t , at all, mean that I think they are the best team on the pitch. But they do impress me more than England. They are in the game after all and can still even win. And that’s strong.
