I’d love to see Grealish and Mount both play today. Stick with the 4-3-3. Questions about the defense, stick Maguire back in? Phillips probably keeps his place, although I’d be tempted to stick Henderson in, he’d be better choice in game when England should have most of the possession, but it’d be tough to drop Phillips after his last game. Sterling also did well last game, I’d go with him and Grealish.
Walker Stones Maguire Trippier
Phillips Rice Mount
Sterling Kane Grealish
(I’d pick Henderson and play one of the LBs if it was up to me)
Scotland needs to figure out how to clone Robertson and have play all over the field. I think they should start with Che Adams, he looked much more of a threat after he came on last game. I imagine we’re in for a fiery 20 minutes before game settles into a rhythm with England poking and prodding trying to break through Scotland defense. Hopefully won’t be too dull. England can toil when given possession and trying to break through a low block.
I think it will be quite a lively game. I don’t really fancy Scotland’s chances on paper, but this is the sort of match where England can fuck it up completely and walk off with their heads down.
Years ago, my cousin and I were at the airport and it was a day before an international Rugby matches. We were surrounded by Scottish fans. It was hilarious and it was a good natured affair. They kept us entertained for an hour in the departure lounge.
It is great to see some happiness and laughter for once, in these difficult times.
Welcome to London Scottish fans and cheering us miserable Londoners up.🏴 +🏴
I think Scotland’s defence is solid @Flobs . They were good against Croatia. England has better forwards but when it’s your historical rival, anything can happen.
