we get a bit of everything. it was 47.1°C in Lytton BC which is about 3.5hrs drive from here.
But for being a temperate rainforest, it’s been a very unseasonably dry year so far. there’s already a campfire ban in effect starting July1 and will likely carry on until late September for the entire province. suspect we will get very bad forest fires again this year.
during the summer, we get some serious heat. normal to see 30C+ for 2 months across the country.

There’s a large Indian community in Vancouver. The Vaisahki and Diwali celebrations here bring hundreds of thousands into the Surrey/Delta area.

He was so close to it, but it happened so quickly. It’s so easy to get distracted by the ball that you can miss the bigger picture. It’s a textbook case of what VAR is supposed to be used for.
