we set some record temperatures yesterday. 43°C when I left work yesterday at 3pm and still 35°C at 10pm last night at sunset. rediculously hot.

You forget where I live. I just took this photo now for you. Maybe not the best shot, but yes, sun searing and it is 2146 now

It is damn hot when it shines through the window so I am off for a walk and some wind

You know the tabloid writers want Sweden so they can mention Abba or IKEA

No, no. I know you live in Norway and the long summer days there. But Searing Sun at 9 PM was hard to digest. It was kind of a rhetorical question.

Where do you live @Semmy

Even when it goes down closer to midnight, all light never truly fades during summer here. We don’t get blackness during summer months. Just dunkleness.

Good point. Wasn’t sure who I wanted to win, but I’ll go with Ukraine.

Also Sweden have been annoyingly crap so far.

Vancouver area.

how far north are you? we’re at 49N latitude, this time of year we get 17hr of daylight (5am to 10pm) but we still get 7hrs of night.

Pacific Coast, that’s weirdly tropical. Really surprised that it gets that hot in Canada.

62 degrees north approx.
Edit: Which is 4 degrees south of the Polar circle.

:grimacing:

Almost Polar Circle

Temperature for British Columbia interior has been insanely hot for the past couple of days. Wasn’t it something like 46°C?

Both teams hit the bar within minutes

You can do it, I can do one better (right at the bottom of the goal post)

They are definitely playing hit the bar/I can’t score either now

Forsberg must have angered the god of goal posts and crossbar.

Surprisingly entertaining game. Sweden not so bad when not playing park the bus.
