England playing very well, Southgate’s starting 11 seems vindicated. Both flanks are strong and middle of the midfield very good at rewinning the ball fast.

England have started pretty well here. Midfield balance looks good. Might help if Kane stayed within the box centrally to give them an option when they are crossing. Doesn’t need to be doing it all for England with the likes of Foden and Mount around him.
Phillips looks like a potential destroyer today.
A bit surprised that Croatia is so meek in this match so far. England’s players are so quick on the ball.

Yeah, bit like the Turkey vs. Italy game.
Croatia has much more prolific goal scorers than Russia, so despite dominance, i disagree unless England scores too much. Counters can bite and second half may look different. It is quite possible that Croatia will manage to adjust their formation and press and negate some of this dominance later on.

sterling messed up there, was an easy pass to Kane.
Too used to seeing TAA put perfect crosses into the box. That was pathetic by Croatia’s right.

Croatia seems to settled down a bit but still has not fully gotten a foothold in the match. England has not been pressing as high in the past 10 minutes.
