Interesting the Netherlands did so well given Gravenbach missed the tournament to join the full side this summer. Im pretty sure De Ligt would still qualify for this age group as well.
Not just se Ligt. Van den Beek, Malen and Frenkie de Jong probably too.
First time I’m seeing Sven Botman. Nothing special really.
De Jong and Vd Beek are both definitely too old. Malen is in the right age bracket but looks like he simply didnt make the squad (unless he’s injured).
Think it depends on how old they were during the qualification for this tournament.
But I must admit I’m not really sure here.
Yup I think the group stages they did a while back counted as the tournament as well.
Dutch claw one back.
Germany vs. Portugal on Sunday.
Oh well TAA is out of the Euros with a thigh injury
Read a similar article in Guardian (probably) too.
While they are moaning about climate issues (which is important, do doubt) where’s the concern about the players’ well being?
Oh wow, got the Spain vs. Portugal game live . Should be a cracker
Group F really is the stand out group of death, when you potentially have three teams going through it’s no guarantee the supposed top two will stay in it.
I see Spain drew with Portugal 0-0 last night.
Spain’s CB situation interests me.
Their best two players on paper are both left footers; Laporte and Pau Torres. My livescore shows me that Laporte played RCB last night?
Their right footed CB’s are Garcia and Diego Llorente.
I’d imagine most teams don’t have left and right footed CBs, just two right footed ones. So i’m not sure the issue of playing two left footed CB’s?
Portugal backline is atrocious. But my oh my, the midfield and attack they have.
I’m really puzzled. Why would someone think that Wales vs. Albania would be a popular watch in Bangladesh (and India, Pakistan)???
even if England get through the group stages they will likely meet either Portugal Germany or France should they finish second in their group and should England finish top of their group!
Very enjoyable, though a bit scrappy, game. Recognized couple of German lads but none of the Portuguese.
