The likes of Luxembourg or the Faeroes are never going to qualify for the finals. Let them have their own division where they have a realistic chance of success.
The top division can then qualify for the finals.

Oh I completely agree in a world where stuff made sense you would have a structure similar to the nations league and then perhaps some kind of playoff structure.

But we are in a world where working class fans cheer petro dollars while moaning about petrol going up, where people who should have retired run for President and where people elect the likes of Suella Braverman and 30p Lee to office.

The UK and Republic of Ireland will host Euro 2028

Some interesting bits;

UEFA favours all five countries going through qualification, with two automatic places set aside for those who don’t qualify on the pitch

Stadiums;

  • Wembley Stadium
  • Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
  • Villa Park
  • Etihad Stadium
  • St James Park
  • Bramley Dock Stadium
  • Casement Park (Belfast)
  • Aviva Stadium (Dublin)
  • Hampden Park (Glasgow)
  • Principality Stadium (Cardiff).

Tournament will be held during June and July of 2028.
