Euro 2024 - Reiseziel Deutschland

I wonder how the English players and fans felt seeing Chiellini smirking at them again and handing the trophy to Spain.

I would have put pineapple on pizza in front of him, break the spagetti and have a cappuccino in the evening.

The bloke in Liverpool who had an England flag in his window has taken it down.

Something to remember than not all violence is seen on the streets during football tournaments.

ā€œDomestic Violence and football are closely linked, with reported incidents increasing by 26% if England plays, 38% if England loses and 11% the next day, win or lose, according to the National Centre for Domestic Violenceā€

At least, they stay humble, work together as a team, and don’t take themselves for the best before having kicked a ball. That is refreshing in itself after the unbearable, arrogant twats composing the team of the so-called ā€˜golden generation’.

Already heard people on tv this morning talking about winning the World Cup in 2 years time.
They remind me very much of Evertonians.

That phrase - Jam To-morrow - has been getting chanted since 1966…!

Failure has become par for the course with the England team. Always too much of a mixed bag with the players

Could it also be that the German Police have experience with them now and know what to look for, so were able to arrest most of the trouble causing twats early, making the rest of the English look better behaved?

Can someone please explain to me WTF Cucurella was doing getting around with his shorts tucked up like they were?

That and his hair is a rather weird and unsettling combo.

Or better, Lacrosse is coming home

Sorry to disappoint but it isn’t at the Olympics.

ā€œBreakingā€ is which seems to be some dance thingy.

Us Welsh and Scots have been labelling this as typically English for decades. English rugby is exactly the same.

I preferred to watch the Tour de France highlights last night.

Very very good it was too.

Quite humbling and a reminder that footballers arent really that special when you consider athletes.

Never been able to get into it to be honest.

Love the indoor cycling mind. One of my Olympic highlights.

Anyhow bar the pitches I think Germany demonstrated how to host a football tournament with stadiums full of chanting and passion and good vibes it seemed from most fan bases.

Wasn’t the best spectacle of football but I do feel we are now seeing a very direct impact on the amount of football the authorities expect them to play.

It was far better than the mess of 3 years ago, even if the games were better.

Copa America probably shaded it on football but was atrocious on everything else in comparison.

I can understand that. There are certainly sports out there where I can look at them, be appreciative of the skill levels etc. but dont really know the depth of stuff going on and hence i dont quite get into it.

It also doesnt help that I’m completely disillusioned by football at the moment.

That said the guy currently leading the Tour is something very special indeed. I’m hesitant to say a generational talent because he maybe beyond that.
