Before kick off they showed the warm ups and, since I’m coaching High School this year, I quickly whipped out my notepad to see what drills they were doing.
I out the notepad backdown without a single stroke of the pen. Unfortunately the multiple minutes of warm ups we were able to see consisted of the players walking around and occasionally juggling the ball. Then one of the coaches shouted to them and they didn’t appear to hear him as they just carried on doing nothing.
Not exactly a Premier League standard session from what we saw.

I always urge Americans to not watch international football for this reason. Many of them still seem to think the World Cup is the pinnacle of the sport, rather than a tedious exercise in jumped up friendlies.

Part of me wants to see Slovenia win this, then Germany crush England 5-0 so we don’t have to watch another second of this crap.
