Ex-player: Naby KEITA

Poor Werder, they certainly didn’t check the small print

I mean how can you pull so many muscles being an athlete.

I’ve played footy in my 40’s without warming up and never done any damage. He did it while warming up. He should spend his life wrapped up in a bubble poor guy.

theyll learn…
Just glad he aint our problem anymore.

How did he pass a medical before signing for them?

I wish I knew. It’d be useful to have friends like that.

Body double

At this point, Naby can do with a witch doctor

Adductor, so almost certainly related to the repeated hamstring injuries.

Several weeks they say…? Ah the joy of misplaced optimism as yet unsullied.

You can be sure he will play 90 minutes in the September AFCON qualifier

this guy is quite literally the embodiment of “stealing a living”

Yes, how dare he get paid while being injured?

Some really petty and mean-spirited posts in here as usual even though he’s no longer a Liverpool player. Nothing new when it comes to him though.

It’s been mentioned before in TIA that Liverpool were disappointed at Naby’s pain threshold tolerance.

The double whammy of Ox + Keita. Supposedly the guys to be at the peak of their Liverpool careers if fitness issues had not had their say in screwing their careers over.

Atleast with Ox , The injury at Roma derailed him when he was looking the part. Not sure how serious any of Keita’s individual injuries were , I don’t think they were quite as bad as what Ox had to suffer through

Stuff like this coming out when Keita left the club, how convenient.

We should have known what to expect with Ox (as fans we did, I think it caught the club a little by surprise) as he’d been injured a lot before he got to us.

But it was surprising and unfortunate how quickly Naby fell to pieces after that first injury while on international duty. AFAIK he hadn’t suffered that much with injury prior to his move here.

Ox was a gamble. One that nearly worked.

Keita wasn’t supposed to be a gamble. He was supposed to be the new midfield lynchpin.

Was a fair while back. 25th May.

A def sign that Klopp couldn’t wait to see the back of Keita.

Yeah but still right at the end of the season, when it was clear he was leaving and wasn’t selected anymore.

Not a good look for the club to get this press out , but they had likely given up on Keita totally by then. He was still a Liverpool player and was popular in the team.
