Ex-player: Roberto FIRMINO

Neymar, Antony, Ricardison I call them the diving squad.

Fermino does not belong between those cunts.

i just hope his exclusion from the Brazil world cup squad doesnt affect his form for us,

so far this season he’s scored 8 in 19 appearances,

which is best games to goals ratio for a few seasons

It’s funny how his goals are(n’t) spread out last season and so far this season.

Last season he scored 11, but that was in 7 games out of 35 played.

This season he scored 8, but that was in 5 games out of 19 played so far.

It’s like he has some hot games now when he gets a brace or the odd hattrick, but then in between there are relatively long runs without a goal.

But yeah, Bobby and goals is not the first subject with him. He was never one for massive series of goalscoring. His 17/18 season with 27 goals was out of the ordinary for him. The rest was more ‘normal’.

Main thing is that he keeps this level more or less.

Fuck Tite.

Knew that no-look idiocy at empty goals would bite him in the arse once.

Crap penalty.

He did himself no good missing like that tonight… Being the elder statesman, the ball needed to hit the back of the net with a sound that would ripple around Anfield

He’s always been a crap penalty taker, wasn’t suprised he missed.

General play was good though, the football instantly got better when he came on.

Yep he was what the younger players needed someone who played in the hole and moved the ball intelligently

“Now pay attention lads…this is how NOT to take a penalty”

Apparently had a lazer shone in his eye?

Is there a source? Can 't see anything about this anywhere?

Personally I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the Bobby and Bajcetic staggering their runs both missed.

And had the keeper 10 yards off his line.

He’s just a ray of sunshine! And a bloody good footballer to boot!

6 months ago you would’ve said he’d be off on a free but he’s playing his way into earning a new 2 year deal, can’t see it being a long term 1.

It’s how it goes with football public.

Nunez is coming in, Bobby’s dead, we’re changing to 4-2-3-1 (for the last 5-6 years or so), etc.

I’d still be interested in the length and money of it, but if we can agree a relatively short extension, it would enable us to focus on our midfield activity.

If Bobby’s staying then we don’t need to touch the attack for now, 5 main options + whoever of young guns remain here who can cover some of those roles should be enough.

What these players like Firmino, Thiago, Henderson bring to the club, is the best tutors the academy lads can learn from… and that is something you cannot put a price against
