It should be that any premier league clubs have to pay 50% of gate receipts (as if it was a home game) if the game is a draw after 90 mins. TV revenue goes to the lower league club regardless of the result. hit em in the pocket.

I might be a little late to the party on this but I’ve only just been arsed enough to read up on the format for the CL next season. A potential 17 matches if you reach the final and that’s if you qualify automatically. The league stage continues to the end of January ffs.
Gonna be a struggle fitting 10 international breaks into the season…

Decent cup game so far, Chelsea seem to have the edge over City this season. Wouldn’t surprise me if they went to the final.
City have been unimpressive so far. Boring as well.
Looks like those midweek exploits have taken a lot of gas out of City, Palmer running rings around Rodri. Luckily for them Chelsea are absolute head cases when through on goal.

Caicedo keeps finding new ways to make his 115m price tag look even more laughable than it always was.
The FA deny that claim and reading between the issue appears to be different perspective on what “consultation” means and the FA seemingly having a very dismissive attitude to the EFL.It appears they informed them of this being one idea under consideration early on, got negative feedback, then went away and built a plan around it without reengaging them meaningfully and pointed to the minutes of a meeting 9 months prior and said “this says you were consulted”.
Kind of like how we consult First Nations here for building pipelines through their territory…

Shearer’s commentary criticizing Grealish for taking the easy option too often when he has the ability to “go on the outside” and beat his man. It’s almost that, despite being paid for his insight, he is completely unaware that Grealish spent half a season out of the side because he used his individual ability too often and lost the ball more and differently than his pernickety manager could deal with. He plays boring football because his manager says he has to or wont play. But surely a pundit would know that. Surely
