Been tough for Sunderland, it’s like men v boys out there…quite literally. I’ve counted 4 players over 23 in their XI.
Impressive as well when you conider their journey - Neil was one of the only young players that wasn’t approached when everyone else was poached a few year ago when their previous chairman called open season their academy players (we signed McConnell, Hewitson and Stephenson) while Ekwah was released by Chelsea and West Ham before signing for Sunderland off the back of a trial.

On the subject of Sunderland. If Jordan Henderson had been a good guy he would have taken a pay cut to play for them in whatever league they’re in instead of lining his pockets with blood money.
