Federico CHIESA: 2024/25

Charlie Adam deserved it :kissing_heart:

His physique looks fine to me, I think it’s just match fitness, which would make sense.

And yet I wager he would probably have been more ripped than most posters on here.

The only thing Adam ripped was the gusset of his shorts

Is that in the Bible?

I think he would rather be called fat.

I wasn’t aware I jumped on any of your posts.

Though if you continue to post nonsense

Listen us liverpool fans should know exactly what qualifies as fat. Sammy Lee and Jan Molby own that title.

Chiesa is in a different fat league

Ruddock and Dicks though they were bit shit.

In general pace he isn’t the quickest but that acceleration and shot well he could be massive against teams sitting back.

He chops back so well and is perfectly poised and balanced to then take a shot.

Will be good for us late in games and then next season with a proper pre season he will be flying.

:crossed_fingers: no injuries

Chops now
HĆ© is not fat.

His shooting is very impressive. He consistently generates good power and aims for the lower corner. I think he’ll save us few times this season.

I think he needs to be tried more as a CF.

Rather than being the RW/10 role that he’s being getting. He thinks on his feet. Has the ability to stay onside. Those can be good options for a CF to have. In addition to having quite a good shot too.

Get him in closer to goal

Not sure on that. He is quick but rarely has had a chance to play down the wings. He’s being used more in the central part of the pitch where it’s difficult for him to utilise his pace.

His acceleration is still there.

He might play a good Bobby impression…

One of his better seasons came in his last with Juventus, I think, where he played like a second striker with Vlahović. Right now, I’m concerned about his fitness - if he stays consistently fit, he’ll be able to do well in training. If he does well in training, he will force his way into Slot’s plans. Only then will we be able to see what he’s actually about and whether he can kick on.

The talent is clearly there.

The drive to do well is there.

Just needs to stay clear of injuries. His transfer price is a no brainer. But if he ends up contributing to 12 league goals this season (including goals assists key plays etc) on his limited game time, that’s a huge boost for us.

Somewhat on my thought lines too … for this season

A forward line of Diaz/Chiesa/Mo with Dom backing them up as the #10.
