It’s an old Oirish term for an eejit, potentially also slightly racist and used to refer to someone with darker than pasty white skin aka a ‘traveller’
I knew he would do this, and for once I am glad, it’s what the whole charade deserves.
Shame he will pop up again next year as I want to watch that. Should get Carney along for it as well that should be funny.

Didn’t someone post an article supported by FIFA re new player protections which also included issues around rest and over playing?
They are the biggest culprits by adding more and more games to an already congested roster.
