I think the image in a way similar to Offside takes longer to judge. I think VAR can overrule it if imagery they see is obviously demonstrating an error.
This came in after Villa Conceded one that was ruled out but was clearly in during COVID (first match I believe).
Oddest thing is that kept West Ham up I think and Sheffield United got relegated because it was a Sheffield United goal.

At one point Tunisia’s XG was 0.05. It may have been less than that at the end, if that’s possible.

There is a bizarre frenzy (in a good way) in the celebrations that seem to be associated with the various teams at the world cup. Maybe it speaks to the global situation in a way - the ship maybe sinking but the band keeps playing (something like Iggy Pop’s I am a passenger, who knows) - sort of way.
Maybe the World Cup and the influx of “others” can remind the Americans that the world outside is not as bad as it is painted out to be. Maybe talking, learning about and moving forward with the “others” as partners is not such a bad way to go. But then Iggy is playing in the background and I’m diving into a toilet and a baby is crawling on the celling…
