FIFA World Cup 2026 - USA/Canada/Mexico (Part 2)

Tuchel’s assistant.

Story of England’s golden generation.

What failure?

Yeah I understood that.

To be fair Tuchel is probably a decent enough manager to change this, I’ve doubted that from England managers in the past.

Now now @maria but you are right he is quite persnickety.

Well, boring from Ghana just negative tactics but doing their parking the bus very well.

I think having inverted wingers does not work well against low blocks as the crosses are always in front of the defenders and especially when the defenders have height.

Get in down the sides and deliver low crosses or cut backs not floaty ones that currently happens when a player cuts back inside.

Do hate negative style teams, but it is working for them.

If a footballer was worth their weight in gold, they’d be lucky to make it to a Championship side.

Shame Panama didn’t beat them.

No shots on target in this match?

Even my dad called it “super” boring.

£130m worth of “attacking talent” in Madueke and Gordon…wow, just wow.

Rashford has always and will always be a superior player to Gordon, attitude notwithstanding.

Sounds a bit like that bloke who played for Wimbledon.

I hear that they are playing a hymn in honour to Norway at the moment. Sounds good.

Didn’t watch that game, but games like these, for it to be an entertaining game need the defensive team to concede.

Surprised that Partey is allowed into the US.

Oh wait…

I’d actually like to be entertained now—a few goals would be nice, if you don’t mind.

Yeah I think some games have been helped like that, in fact even the “advert break” has aided that.

Anyhow BBC finally got the Boston Tea Party in.

Fucking hell imagine if Ghana scored :face_with_peeking_eye:

Partey is being booed.

Oh dear

Famously, long sieges are not entertaining for either the attacker or the defenders.

This contest will be decided by the English running out of ammunition for their trebuchets, forcing them to retreat for the winter; or the Ghanian fortress wall being broken.

My God, they almost sallied forth and struck the English command unit, just there !

Is Partey getting booed? I think I’ve heard booing but not sure at which player.
