Whilst everybody needs good neighbours and it would be great if you could lend support home and away aren’t Australia already out of the tournament?
We are doing quite well with you supporting our opposition don’t change and curse us 
I am sure Dane will prevail. 
I worked with Argentineans, Colombians, Brazilians and Ecuadorians and they were huge football fans. I remember them saying when the football tournaments came around, the Non-Argentineans group said, "if our national team is out, we support our neighbours, “except for Argentina, the rest of South America can’t stand them, we support the other team”.
At least we have Brazil and the rest of South America on our side which is a huge plus.

Messi is 5 ft 7 “, Konsa is 6 ft 2”. I am hoping Konsa’s floors Messi the way our Robbo did in Champions League and ruffle Messi’s feathers. Hoping we do an European Anfield night, on a national level.

I haven’t been to shorty’s but I did pay a visit to the Falklands some years ago and I had a pint of Thatchers in Thatchers pub on Thatcher Drive just by the Thatcher statue. I had to be rescued after embarking on a self guided hike to see the penguins but that story can wait..

That is true although with Scholes and before that Gazza, we did get some passing play. Gerrard had his moments.

Yes central defenders and goalkeepers were used a lot less for possession orientated play.
Watching this WC puts this practice into question as many teams have indicated their defenders are not up to it.
Of course such competitions are very difficult as you need to conserve energy for the deciding moments. If you start needing to run a lot an keep a high tempo to win your buggered.
Concentration is probably the most important factor.
I don’t know how Scholes got into the discussion of passing, he was just a leg chopper imo . Talk about over rated.
