Disgusting as usual, unfortunately.

The podcast that Neville, Carragher, Keane and Wright do - they introduced their latest episode talking about how good it was that Tuchel doesn’t just pick names and then spent the next 2 hours moaning that Maguire, Foden and Palmer should be there.

To be fair Keane and Wright said nothing it was just Neville mostly. Keane said if you don’t make the 26 its your fault and Wright just said Hall and Gibbs-White and Wharton should have been picked.

It is so fucking tedious.

I wonder if they’ll all apologise and say he got it spot on if England win?

Neville will take every single set piece/corner opportunity to mention Maguire when England need a goal late on in games.

I’ll watch the opening game in Mexico tonight, if only to see the atmosphere in the renovated Aztec stadium. It’s also an appealing fixture. I’m curious to see how Mexico will do in this tournament.

And Mexico, just like Canada, don’t need to be ignored. If only there wasn’t that fat, ignorant and racist country in-between…

It will be fine. Tuchel will deliver a tremendous run to the semi-finals, play a closely fought match versus X that goes to penalty kicks, and a new episode of England football trauma will be added to the pile.

You’ve obviously not met @SBYM - being a massive dick is who he is

I think Thomas Tuchel looks lovely. He speaks so eloquently. He’s trying his best. He’s keeping everything lowkey.

I hope England win with a German manager, just to wind up old fogeys. :folded_hands: :palms_up_together: :crossed_fingers:

It is interesting that with Brazil and England both going into this tournament with a foreign manager, no team has ever won it with a foreigner in charge.

You know the Americans calling it Soccer and not understanding it wasn’t funny about 35 years ago eithier.

I’ll just make the point that they’ve met three times at the World Cup and England have yet to win.

For those wanting to use the Morocco games to size up Ezzalzouli as a transfer option you will be disappointed to hear he had to pull out with an injury he sustained in their last warm up game.
