Tunisia just sacked their manager after losing 5-1 to Sweden. How many times have that happened? Sacking the manager/head coach during the tournament itself.

There are two previous instances of managers being sacked during a World Cup finals — both from 1998 — one of which involved Tunisia.
Sounds like Tunisia have form.
Ironically, this is not the first time a Tunisia manager has been sacked mid-tournament. Henryk Kasperczak was fired after losing his first two games at the 1998 World Cup.
In the same tournament, South Korea head coach Cha Bum-kun was dismissed after heavy defeats to Mexico and Netherlands in the group stages.
I don’t believe that name is real, he would be the first to go after 1 game. It’s odd that you’d think it would have happened early post war or earlier but not the earliest being 1998.
Also the striker for Spain has his leg taped up, its not a great look.

One of the glaring fault of their team is the goalkeeper not the manager and I am sure he didn’t select the goalkeepers, usually over the years Tunisias defense is very tight, they either win 1:0 or draw 0:0. If they improve with his assistant in charge then the players didn’t like the manager.
Is Nico Williams injured as well as Yamal? If those two were present they’d be 5:0 up by now.
Both coming back from injuries so not fit to start this match but may come on

People are rightly disappointed; after all, you have to consider the cost of the tickets and everything else involved. It’s sad when the Spaniards’ entire game hinges on Jamal.
